Research Proposal – 20%

This module develops learners’ research planning and academic investigation skills. Students will identify a relevant topic within occupational health and safety management, conduct preliminary literature reviews, establish research objectives, and design an appropriate research methodology for their proposed study.

Final Dissertation – 80%

The dissertation module requires learners to undertake an in-depth independent research project focused on a specialist area of occupational health and safety management. Students will critically analyse industry challenges, apply theoretical and practical knowledge, evaluate findings, and produce evidence-based recommendations aligned with professional and academic standards.

Upon successful completion of the Research Proposal and Final Dissertation modules, learners will be able to:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Relevant professional experience in occupational health and safety, risk management, environmental management, compliance, operations, engineering, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • As the programme is delivered in English, applicants must demonstrate good English language skills in reading, writing, and academic communication
