Upon completion of the ACS-GP USA Emergency Life Support and First Aid at Worksite, participants will be able to demonstrate competency in the following eight objectives.

  • Understand OSHA and American Red Cross guidelines for workplace first aid and emergency life support.

  • Develop skills to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

Upon the Successfully Completion,ACS-GP USA Emergency Life Support and First Aid at Worksite, learners will be able to

  • Demonstrate competence in performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and responding effectively to life-threatening emergencies.
  • Assess emergency situations, identify priorities, and apply appropriate first aid interventions in workplace environments.
  • Provide immediate care for common workplace injuries and medical emergencies, including bleeding, burns, fractures, shock, and unconscious casualties.
  • Safely and effectively utilize first aid equipment and workplace first aid kits during emergency situations.
  • Understand the legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities associated with providing first aid assistance.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with injured persons, colleagues, emergency responders, and relevant stakeholders during incidents.
  • Maintain accurate incident reports and first aid records in accordance with workplace procedures and compliance requirements.

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
